A Brief Background

Ellesmere and ERDA has been operating as a riding school and agistment centre since 2014 with the RDA lessons beginning in 2016. Our nationally qualified, experienced and fully insured coaches offer lessons on our quiet and educated school ponies or on your own horse. Clients of all abilities have the opportunity to learn not only riding skills but horsemanship and safety around horses, improve physical skills, be active, make new friends and develop social skills as well as experience the magic that horses bring to our every day lives

Holiday with your own horse!

Bring your own horse to experience the beautiful South Coast trail and beach rides. The full day ride along Bingie Dreaming Track from Bingie beach to Tuross Heads offers many opportunities for swims in the scenic lagoons or in the waves, a gallop on the beach and some challenging cliff side climbs! Or the serenity of the Moruya State forest is on your doorstep with Ellesmere having direct access to endless miles of fire trails and forest tracks. Take a day to ride down to Tuross river and enjoy a splash on the sand banks. Ellesmere can provide a guide if you want one, or you can take a map and make your own way. Our electric fenced paddocks boast fresh water and shade or private yards are available from $15 per night and includes use of the indoor school, mini trail ride and XC course. RDA

Riding for people with a disability is available in private or group lessons with a strong  focus on FUN and enjoyment as well as the more serious stuff - developing balance, coordination and strong muscles.  RDA lessons run during term time and are available to people of all ages and with a wide range of ability levels.

Term Time Lessons

Group, private and semi private lessons run during the week, after school and on Saturdays during school term, for beginners, intermediate and advanced riders. Nationally qualified and experienced coaches are available for lessons on our educated school horses or on your own horse.  Our Jump Club runs on Thursday evenings under lights with riders developing their technique and skills. Ellesmere accepts riders from age 5 and adults returning to riding or learning a new skill are very welcome.
